I believe that a great leader will lead by example and that they will make a positive difference in the fire service. A great leader is also someone who listens to their people and provides feedback. Listening to their ideas or suggestions is beneficial because they are the frontline workers and may see something that needs to be addressed or could be done more efficiently. I also believe that a great leader is someone who keeps current on their training and keeps up with the constant changes/advancements in both the fire service and medical field.
