I believe leadership is best exemplified through leading by example. Being in front of my men and women, rather than pointing out things for them to do, that I would otherwise not do myself. By being the first one to put a sponge to a dirty apparatus, racking hose with those that pulled it, and leading company drills to improve my skills, and those that I work with.
