I believe my philosophy of leadership was formulated by my mentor, Chief Alan V. Brunacini, Phoenix Fire Department, “The Goal isn’t to live forever, it’s to create something that WILL.” I believe the two most important things in being a good leader is integrity and trust. That is why delivering Project Mayday information is so critical in implementing prevention procedures. I want to make sure that the information we present is timely and factual. This is important to me as a leader, because I want firefighters to know that the information “I’m presenting can be trusted and the recommended safe practices are proven and can be trusted when performed.
