The Yvorra Leadership Development Foundation (YLD) was proudly represented by Michael Hildebrand, President and Chairman of the Board, at the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) Hazardous Materials Response Teams Conference held in Baltimore, Maryland.

This year’s conference welcomed approximately 1,200 HazMat team members from 48 states and 9 countries, with 109 unique training sessions offered. Officially recognized as the 42nd conference, this year also marked a significant transition — the event is now officially hosted by the IAFC, following several years of being coordinated by an independent group and brief pauses due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

YLD was once again honored by the continued support of 908 Devices, a long-time sponsor of the Foundation. On June 13, 2025, Dave Massingham of 908 Devices presented a donation of $2,000 to Michael Hildebrand. These funds are earmarked for the Chief John M. Eversole Endowment, which provides scholarships and awards specifically to members of the hazardous materials response community.
