Leadership is something that is earned and not given. Leadership is working hard, putting in the extra effort, and going the extra mile. Leadership is leading by example, not telling those you supervise to do something you would not do yourself. Leadership is getting your hands dirty with your coworkers and collaborating with them. Leadership is being able to take criticism, complaints, suggestions, and work everything out. I have experienced many diverse types of leadership and I always tell myself, I will not be like that person, or I want to be a leader like him or her.
