In 2024 the Yvorra Leadership Development Foundation offered the Chief Alan Brunacini Special Projects Program. This prestigious program awards up to $10,000 to eligible individuals and organizations within the fire and emergency services community to support projects that advance leadership development and training. The Special Projects Program is designed to support initiatives that can be utilized to train, educate, and enhance leadership development within the fire and emergency services sector. Successful projects should demonstrate a clear plan for sharing results and work products with the public safety community on a not-for-profit basis.
